Abbey Paints

Abbey Aldridge is a painter and mixed media artist based in Austin, Texas.  She draws inspiration from the simple beauties that surround her and often likes to combine the elegance of nature with the playful energy of Austin in her work.  This juxtaposition gives her art a distinctly sophisticated, yet vibrant, style, alive with color and a variety of textures.

Once a K-9th grade art teacher, Abbey now raises her family and offers private art lessons to adults and children.  She continues to produce commissioned paintings and works on volunteer projects for her church and community.

Abbey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in art education from Brigham Young University, where she received the Dean’s Award and served as president of the Art Education Association.
